What is War?
War is a state of armed conflict between independent governments (such as states) or unions of these governments. War is a conflict involving the prepared use of weapons and physical force by state and other large-scale groups.
Types of Wars

- Unequal warfare is a conflict between two populations of different levels of size. Unequal conflicts often result in rebel tactics being used to overcome the gaps in numbers and technology
- Chemical warfare involves the intentional use of chemicals in combat. Poison gas as a chemical weapon was mainly used during World War One and resulted in an estimated 1.3 million dead including 100,000-260,000 civilians
- Civil war is a war where the forces in conflict belong to same nation and are completing for control of or independence from the nations people
- Conventional warfare is an attempt to reduce the enemy's ability through open battle. It is a declared war between states in which chemical weapons are not used
- Globalizing war refers to a form of war which extends beyond the national or regional boundaries of the immediate soldiers to have effects for the whole planet
- Nuclear warfare is warfare in which nuclear weapons are the primary method of forcing the other side to surrender as opposed to a supporting tactual or strategic role in a conventional conflict
- unconventional warfare, the opposite of conventional warfare, is an attempt to accomplish military victory through agreement or submission
